Sunny Socks was founded in 2009 by three friends who tired of waiting for the market to satisfy their desire for colorful socks. It provides a place to work really hard while creating a system of mass delight, two things the founders hold in high regard.
We hope to reintroduce Sunny Socks in the future when we’re able to efficiently meet market demands.
“I looked everywhere before starting Sunny Socks, not wanting to bother the world with another me too product. Making the first batch together with some of my closest friends, I think we all felt joy in the air. After wearing different colors around my college campus during the first few weeks, I knew these were something we had to share with everyone. The first time you wear them you’ll feel it too–sure lots of people ask about them, but the moments I treasure are when I catch someone stealing a glance at them and watch a silent smile crease their face.”
”I’m the first to admit they’re just socks, and I hesitate to call them magical as to discourage graduate students from embarking on a unified theory of colorful socks, but there really is something oddly special about them. Wearing Sunny Socks isn’t like watching color television for the first time, but looking down at color beneath your ankle, where there was once only white or black, subtly re-injects wonder into the wider world. We don’t know why it works, but they’re delightful and I’ll be darned if they don’t leave smiles in their wake.” –Zane Shannon
